Claire was diagnosed with Stage IV ALK-positive Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma, which was systemic throughout her body and completely consumed her mid brain at the age of 6.
As a family, we chose to share our cancer journey publicly, in real time, through 165 daily Facebook posts. Our willingness to invite the world behind the doors of a pediatric cancer treatment and share what is usually a very private journey changed our lives forever.
What you find here is a compilation of those daily posts with curated comments from friends and strangers from around the world. There were days filled with heartbreak and pain. There were days filled with hope and joy. These memories we will forever cherish as we watched our family become stronger and more courageous as the days progressed.
